CRIPS
          CRIPS is a clinic in Lomé offering free medical services for those affected by HIV/AIDS. Services and programs include: providing access to free anti-retroviral medicine, free treatment of opportunist infections, psychological counselling, micro-credit for women, discussion groups, and a lunch and school sponsorship program for HIV positive children, amongst others.
          A small group of CAS students go to the centre every Thursday and have undertaken a few different projects. They have conducted interviews with staff and patients in order to put together a presentation on living with HIV/AIDS, and are at present researching and creating new display boards for the centre to publish information such as the centre’s services and nutritional guidance, fundraising to buy medical equipment and have recently started an English training program for the centre’s staff.
