On Monday 28th of September Master Mariner, Emmanuel Aupoix , gave a presentation on his job as a sea captain.
Students from Year10 and above learned about the use of Physics and Mathematics on a ship, the time it takes for a 100 meters boat to stop, the most dangerous seas, the Bermuda triangle, why a Chef is the most important person on a cruise ship….
They also asked many questions about piracy, weather forecast, dangers at sea….
This was a very interesting 45 minutes where our students discovered another side of life. |
