OPEN DAYS |
There are two open days a year, when the school is open for parents and prospective parents to come into the school to get a flavour of what we are doing. They can sit in on some lessons and look around at displays at their leisure, to give them an idea of what the school offers. Prospective parents can take away brochures, leaflets and forms so they can reflect on their children’s future education with the school in mind. |

During the school year there are 3 formal parents’ evenings, one of which takes place in the afternoon. |

Portfolio afternoon with children |
Portfolios are a celebration of learning, which demonstrate students’ growth and understanding. The Portfolio afternoon is a time when the students can celebrate their work with their parents.
Parents can of course meet with teachers during the year, as long as they have made a convenient booking of time. Teachers are expected to make time for the parents, but parents should also appreciate that teachers are very busy and respect their time. |
