Dear IB student

You must be very excited as you move towards the next stage of your education. The International Baccalaureate Diploma Program is a rigorous program of study and personal development that will help you succeed at University and in the workplace.

It is vital that you begin the program with the right attitude, commitment and determination to be the best that you can be. Our staff here at The British School is looking forward to delivering well prepared and engaging lessons and will be available to offer guidance and support.

To make sure you are ready for this learning journey, we have put together a suggested list of reading material and activities for each subject. During the summer vacation you should set yourself goals and targets and try to cover as much of the material as possible.

Have a great vacation and we all look forward to seeing you in August for induction where you will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with your new surroundings, bond with the rest of the year group, meet subject teachers and make your final academic subject choices.
