| Terre Des Hommes is a transit centre for mistreated or orphaned children in Lome. Students visit the centre weekly and animate activities for the children there, who range in age from 1 to 15. The youngest children from Terre Des Hommes came and participated in the Early Years Christmas Party in December. The children helped decorate Christmas cookies and made bells to take home. The children will again visit for the school’s annual Easter Eggstravaganza this April. Children from Year 3 and 4 will visit the centre to make special Easter bonnets for the parade. As well, this upcoming April 11th, the director from Terre Des Hommes, Mr. Jerome Combes will be visiting BSL to make a presentation about the lives of children who arrive at Terre Des Hommes and how the centre intervenes. |
