Sport for All

At BSL, we believe that sport plays an important role in every child's development. Through participation in a wide range of activities, students build confidence, resilience, teamwork and leadership while developing lifelong habits that support physical and mental wellbeing.


Whether competing for a school team, learning a new skill through ASEP, participating in Sports Day or simply enjoying recreational sport with friends, every student is encouraged to be active, challenge themselves and discover the joy of movement.


Our sports programme combines participation and personal growth with opportunities for competitive success, ensuring that every student can find a pathway that matches their interests and ambitions.

Students have opportunities to represent BSL through school teams and competitive fixtures.

Basketball

Our basketball programme is supported by a coach with national-level experience, helping students develop skills, teamwork and game understanding.​

Football

Students can represent the school in fixtures and tournaments while continuing to develop their skills through training and recreational play.​

March Madness Tournament

Each year, BSL hosts the highly anticipated March Madness tournament, bringing together schools from Togo and Ghana in a celebration of sport, teamwork and international friendship.

This annual event provides students with valuable competitive experience while creating lasting memories and connections with students from across the region.

Regional Competition

BSL students regularly compete against schools from across Togo and Ghana, gaining valuable experience in competition, teamwork and sportsmanship.​

Sport at BSL is about more than winning matches.

Many students choose to participate in community clubs and teams outside school. Our PE staff are committed to helping students identify suitable opportunities and supporting talented athletes as they pursue their sporting goals.

Students benefit from specialist coaching delivered by experienced athletes and coaches.

School teams compete against schools from across West Africa through annual sporting events and tournaments.
